Joseph Bakhash

Joe started in film when he produced an award-winning short, "Nathan Grimm" in the 90's. Years later, he teamed up with friend and Miramax alum Sean McPhillips in 2007 and co-founded Secret Hideout Films, producing 5 short films, including "Cupcake" which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in May 2008, "Yard of Blondes" which won the platinum award at the 2008 Houston International Film Festival, and "Girl Grooming" which began it's weird fiction film run at the 2008 Transilvania International Film Festival. Joe's directorial effort, "Deadline," had the pleasure of winning the audience award at the 2008 Santa Monica Film Festival and was selected for competition by the 2009 Tribeca Film Festival. Most recently he produced short film "The Cubicle" for McPhillips.

Sean McPhillips

Sean began his film career in the late 90's at Miramax films, ultimately attaining the title of VP of Acquisitions. He left this job to pursue filmmaking and in 2007 co-founded Secret Hideout Films, Inc. with Joe Bakhash. Of the 35mm Secret Hideout shorts, Sean wrote and directed "Cupcake," which premiered at the 2008 Tribeca Film Festival and continues its festival run, wrote and co-produced "Deadline," selected for this year's Tribeca Film Festival and wrote/directed/co-produced "The Cubicle" which they plan on showcasing as a teaser for a feature.
